| CA-NEWS (TJ) - Selection round of Tajik participant in International contest of young performers of CIS countries "Five stars. Intervision" will be held in Dushanbe on July 4, Ministry of culture reported.
10 young performers including famous and beginning artists will participate in selection round, agency reported.
Pretenders aged from 16-30 years and musical group of no more than 5 people can take part in the contest. Participants will perform three songs using backing tracks in nominations "Original song," "Retro hit" in Russian, and "World hit" in original language from repertoire of world stars. International contest of young performers of CIS countries and Baltic "Five stars. Intervision-2009" is planned to be held in Tajik capital in the end of this August. Last year Tajik singer Takhmina Niyazova became the winner of Grand Prize of the contest in Sochi. Thus, according to rules, contest is held in winner's country.
