President of Tajikistan meets with delegation of Japanese Parliament

CA-NEWS (TJ) - The state and prospects of bilateral relations were discussed at the meeting of President Emomalii Rahmon and the delegation headed by the head of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of House of Representatives of Japan Muneo Suzuki.


During the meeting both sides expressed satisfaction with the implementation of the program dialogue "Central Asia-Japan" and other aspects of regional and bilateral cooperation, said the press service of Tajik President.


The interest in expanding the relationship in the implementation of regional projects, particularly in the field of transport and communications, which are also aimed at stabilizing the situation in Afghanistan, was expressed at the meeting.


"Rahmon expressed his gratitude to the Government of Japan for its active participation in the implementation of infrastructure projects in the Republic of Tajikistan in the fields of health, education, training, and road construction," added the press-service.
