NBT's branch in Kulob helps local lone elderly people

CA-NEWS (TJ) - The branch of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) in Kulob has provided food assistance to 20 local elderly and disabled people who do not have relatives to support, Safarali Saidov, the deputy head of NBT's branch in Kulob, told Asia-Plus Friday afternoon.

The beneficiaries have received a kit of basic food products, including one kilogram of fresh meat each.


According to Saidov, they have purchased food products for 5,000 somoni. "15 lone pensioners have received the food kits in the office of the Kulob social domiciliary aid service, and the food kits of five sick pensioners have been delivered to their homes," he said.
