| CA-NEWS (KZ) - The mayor of the town of Ereymentau in northern Kazakhstan has been found dead, RFE/RL's Kazakh Service reports.
A spokeswoman for the Ereymentau district administration told RFE/RL today that Marat Abdulin, 39, was found hanged in his garage on August 30.
Aqmola Oblast police say that a preliminary investigation suggests that Abdulin committed suicide due to family problems.
Abdulin was married and had three children. He had been on vacation since July 16.
