The humanitarian cargo was met by the leaders of the administration of Herat province, representatives of the public, including the Turkmen community, living compactly in border areas of Afghanistan. The second transport convoy with humanitarian cargo arrived in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif of Balkh province. The delegation of Turkmenistan was welcomed by Afghan officials at the gates of the city. Representatives of Afghan provinces of Gunduz and Baghlan also arrived in Mazar-i-Sharif to receive their portion of humanitarian cargo, reported Turkmenistan.ru.
It is expected that the humanitarian aid will reach Samangan province today. A grand welcome will be accorded to the envoys of Turkmenistan in the administrative center of the province.
