CA-NEWS (TM) - The Ministry of Connection and Informational Technologies of Azerbaijan plans to lay the undersea part of the fibre-optic cable artery under the project of the informational super-artery East-West.

Last year The UN Assembly General adopted the resolution about this project, according to Zerkalo.ru. After the adoption of the resolution all the problems between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan regarding the the construction undersea segment will be solved, according to the report.

The question regarding the construction of the undersea segment is regularly discussed by Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. However, governments of two countries delay the realization of the project and giving it political significance.
