CA-NEWS (TM) - Representative of the Turkmen Mejlis Akji Nurberdyeva met with head of the "Eurasia 2" department of the Israeli Foreign Ministry Shemi Tzur responsible for relations with Southern Caucasus and Central Asia, according to Gundogar.

Even though the main theme of the meeting was strengthening of interpaliamentary connections, Shemi Tzur held several non-official meetings, where he said that the main reason of visit is the delay of the opening of the Israeli Embassy in Turkmenistan, according to the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

The Turkmen sides still did not agree on the appointment of the former Mossad intelligence agency of Israel to the post of the Ambassador of Israel to Turkmenistan.
