CA-NEWS (TJ) - Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon met with Afghan Minister of Economy Abdulhodi Argandevol in Dushanbe on Wednesday. During the meeting sides discussed conditions and perspectives of the development of the trade and economic relations between two countries. During the meeting Rakhmon noticed that the Tajik Afghan relationship improved during the last several years and now envelop different spheres of the cooperation. He expressed the hope that both sides will make maximal efforts to intensify the trade and economic cooperation between two countries, according to the press service of the Tajik President. The press service noticed that among important projects of the economic development of two countries were called the construction of electric lines, creation of joint enterprises and construction of hydropower station of different capacities and construction of auto and railroads. Sides also discussed questions of holding of joint business-forum in Dushanbe. The Afghan Minister noticed that both countries have big potential for the development of the cooperation. The Afghan delegation arrived to Tajikistan on March 15. During the visit the delegation participated in the work of the III session of the Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation on March 16.
