CA-NEWS (TJ) - The national conference dedicated to the the presentation of the national alternative report of the realization the Convention of Children's Rights in Tajikistan and final results of the project "Children are partners in monitoring of children;s rights in Tajikistan"will take place in Dushanbe today. The project is financed by the European Union.

The project regarding the monitoring of children's rights was implemented by the "Nasli Navras" social organization since March 2008 until 2010 in four regions of Tajikistan. The social organization "Saodat", social association "league of Women-lawyers of Tajikistan" and Medical-Teaching Association "N.Mehrubon" participated in the monitoring as partners.

The goal of the project is the strengthening of role of parents as rightholders in decisions influencing their lives through strengthening of partnership between children and elders who make decisions of people responsible for acting regarding children.
