CA-NEWS (KZ) - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev held a phone conversation with Russian President Dmitri Medvedev, in the course of which state leaders discussed a number of questions on bilateral cooperation in the sphere of trade and economy.

The Presidents also discussed the course of preparation to celebration of 65 anniversary of the Great Victory this year, Kazakh President's press service reported.

Also, Kazakh and Russian leaders exchanged opinions on the situation in the region and interaction of two countries in frames of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
