CA-NEWS (UZ) - Central Bank of Uzbekistan withdrew licenses of the private open joint-stock commercial bank Alp Jamol Bank, UzDaily reported with reference to the regulator. The decision was adopted in line with Article 53 of the Law "On Central Bank of Uzbekistan" and Article 14 of the Law "On banks and banking activity" due to violation of banking legislation. In line with the decision, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan withdrew license on carrying out banking operations and general license on holding operations with hard currency of the Alp Jamol Bank. Private open joint-stock commercial bank Alp Jamol Bank was founded on March 16, 1998, by businessmen of Uzbekistan. Charter capital of the bank was 10 billion soums as of January 1, 2010. The assets comprised 118.6 billion soums and own capital - 15.9 billion soums as of January 1, 2010.
