CA-NEWS (KZ) - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev visits Uzbekistan by invitation of Uzbek President Islam Karimov on March 16-17. State leaders plan to discuss a number of key questions on cooperation, including regional security, realization of economic projects, and rational usage of water resources in the region, official representative of Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs Askar Abdrakhmanov reported. "Kazakhstan highly values relations with Uzbekistan, places special significance to further strengthening and development of bilateral cooperation, interaction in political, trade, economic, humanitarian, and other spheres," Abdrakhmanov stated. Signing of Joint Note by Presidents of two countries, which will include principal approaches of the sides on current issues in bilateral cooperation, is planned in the result of the visit.
