CA-NEWS (TM) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov will discuss questions of the further intensification of Russian-Turkmen cooperation in Ashgabat today, reported ITAR-TASS.

Sides will discuss perspectives of the widening of the economic connections, development of commodity turnover, according to official representative of Lavrov Andrey Nesterenko.

Sides will also exchange their opinions regarding international problems, situation in Central Asia and deepening of the cooperation between Foreign Ministries of two countries, Nesterenko said. Russia thinks that the visit of Lavrov will assist the friendly relationship and successful cooperation between two countries.
