CA-NEWS (KZ) - Day of Japanese Culture was held in Almaty on March 14. The event was organized by the Japanese Embassy in Kazakhstan and Kazakh-Japanese Center of Development of Human Resources, Kazinform reported.

The concert featuring masters of traditional and modern art of Japan, demonstrative performances on karate, master-class on the art of ikebana, tea ceremony, exhibitions of Japanese national cuisine, toys, and dolls were held in frames of the event.

The purpose of the campaign was familiarization with Japanese art, culture, and traditions, its economy and perspectives of development. In particular, largest companies of the country - Panasonic, Toyota Tsusho Corporation, and Japan Style were presented.
