Tajikistan softens energy consumption limit

CA-NEWS (TJ) - Advantageous weather and energy savings let Tajik authorities to soften the energy consumption limit in rural regions of the country from 10 hours per day to 14 hours.

According to the press service of the open joint stock holding company "Barki Tojik", the supply of electricity was increased on March 13.

The energy holding noticed that the softening of the limit of the energy consumption was possible due to the advantageous weather, to the savings of the electricity through usage of energy saving lamps, to the launching of Sangtuda-1 stations. However there is to early to remove the limit completely, according to the press service.

Limits of energy consumption for rural regions of Tajikistan were introduced last year.
