Assets of credit organizations prevail $1.78 billion in Tajikistan

CA-NEWS (TJ) - Assets of credit organizations reached 7.81 billion somoni ($1.78 billion) by the end of January 2010. They increased 23.4% in comparison to the previous year, according to the National Bank of Tajikistan.

There were functioning 13 banks, six credit unions, one non-bank financial organization and 116 microfinancial organizations in Tajikistan by 1 March 2010.

The balance capital of credit organizations of the country totaled 1.24 billion somoni ($283.75 million) by the end of January 2010. It increased 28% in comparison to the previous year.
