CA-NEWS (UZ) - Uzbek citizen wounded in the course of the incident on Kyrgyz-Uzbek border escaped from the hospital in Kyzyl-Kiya located in Batken region of Kyrgyzstan at night of March 9, Voice of Freedom reported. The citizen of Uzbekistan was supposed to receive a surgery on his hand on the next day, March 10, doctor Jenish Joldoshev reported. Escaped patient was considered as a witness of the incident, police department of the town reported. There was no sanction for his arrest and he was not handcuffed, police reported. However, according to the doctors in the hospital, Uzbek citizen was handcuffed to his bed. He broke the bed in order to escape in presence of the guard, who was asleep, edition reported. According to some sources, there was an automobile expecting for the escaped patient in the yard of the hospital. The mentioned incident took place on the checkpoint on Kyrgyz-Uzbek border in Kadamjai district of Batken region in early March. Kyrgyz frontier officer started firing at the automobile with Uzbek citizens after the driver did not stop upon request of the frontier officers and warning shot. In the result of the incident the driver died at the scene, the passenger was hospitalized to Kyzyl-Kiya. After he escaped, his location remains unknown.
