CA-NEWS (KZ) - Ministry of Oil and Gas was established in Kazakhstan by decision of President Nursultan Nazarbaev. "We establish Ministry of Oil and Gas for realization of the policy on development of oil and gas sector," Nazarbaev said.
Ministry will allow to release KazMunaiGas from particular functions, which urge a conflict between state and commercial interests. KazMunaiGas activities should be of commercial character only, the Kazakh President said.
Sauat Mynbaev was appointed as the Minister of Oil and Gas.
