CA-NEWS (KZ) - Rescue helicopter MI-8 was found in the mountains in Eastern Kazakhstan region. The rescue team searching for the lost helicopter found the remains of the vehicle in the mountains, regional Emergency Department reported. All passengers of the helicopter died.

MI-8 departed from Makanchi village last Thursday and then communication with the crew was lost.

There were 8 passengers on the helicopter, including two governors of Blagodarstvenny and Makanchinsky districts and a patient aged 17.
