CA-NEWS (TJ) - Japanese government will allocate $168.3 thousand for the assistance to socially unprotected people of Tajikistan under the non-repayable assistance of humanitarian security projects, according to the Japanese Embassy in Dushanbe. According to the grant contracts which was signed on Thursday, $74.3 thousand will be allocated for the assistance to sightless and partially sighted people in Kurgan-Tyube. Under the project there will be repaired the rehabilitation center of Kurgan-Tyube which was damaged during the Civil War in Tajikistan. Japan will also allocate $94 thousand for the construction of women's center in Vakhdat district. This center will assist the self-maintaining of 123 thousand women of the district.
