CA-NEWS (UZ) - 3-day seminar on modern technologies of cool storage of agricultural products was held for Uzbek entrepreneurs in Tashkent on March 9. The seminar will familiarize entrepreneurs with the leading technologies of storing agricultural products in Uzbekistan, provide ground for establishment of partner relations between Global Cold Chain Alliance and Uzbek companies, which will allow to increase export potential of the republic on supply of fresh agricultural products to new markets. U.S. companies specializing on production of cool storage equipment are interested in introduction of their goods to Uzbek market and establishment of joint ventures in this sphere, U.S. Ambassador to Uzbekistan Richard Norland stated. The event was organized by Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry with support of UNDP project "Business-Forum of Uzbekistan," USAID project "AgLinks," and Global Cold Chain Alliance.
