Tajikistan takes 69 position in “Save the Children” list

CA-NEWS (CA) - The International non-profit organization "Save the Children" spread the report about the situation with maternity in 125 countries. According to the report there were taken into account death rates of mothers and children during the childbirth, competent usage of modern contraceptions, level of development of medicine regarding the women's health.

Switzerland takes the first place. Denmark and Finland share the second place, then follow Norway, Austria and Germany. The advantageous situation is also in Australia, Canada and Netherlands and Great Britain and USA.

Belarus occupies 16 position, Ukraine takes 21 position, Moldova at 24. Russia and Uzbekistan share 27 position, Then follow Kazakhstan (32 place), Armenia (37 place), Turkmenistan (44 place), Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan (52 place). In this rating Tajikistan occupies 69 place.

The worst maternity regions are third-world countries, particularly the African continent. Nigeria occupies the last position in "Save the Children" list.
