CA-NEWS (TJ) - The Tajik Drug Control Agency exposed more than 10 kilograms of drugs in south of Tajikistan during the special operation in the end of the previous week.

During the special investigative operation there was detained 41-year old citizen of Pyandzh district who owned more than 8 kilograms of opium and more than 2 kilograms of hashish, CA-News was told in the Agency.

There was also detained the accessory of the detained resident of Pyandzh.

There was initiated the criminal case . The detained men were put into the temporary detention facility.

According to the Agency, in 2009 there were prevented 152 cases of drug trafficking and exposed 996.5 kilograms of drugs including more than 315.2 kilograms of heroin.
