CA-NEWS (KZ) - Kazakh Ambassador Anarbek Karashev met the first President of Czech Republic Vaclav Havel in Prague, reported press service of Kazakh Foreign Ministry. Vaclav Havel noted that Czech Republic and Kazakhstan are connected with mutual totalitarian past, and today Kazakhstan is the established government with rising international authority. In this context he congratulated Kazakhstan and Kazakh President on the assumption of the OSCE Chairman and noted that Kazakhstan faces an important task: improving the effectiveness of the OSCE, strengthening the organization's role in addressing international and regional issues. A politician with a worldwide reputation expressed confidence that Kazakhstan will cope successfully with the objectives and wished success and welfare of people of Kazakhstan.
