About us

Central Asian News Service (CANS) is active at the market of socio-political and economic information of Central Asian countries since October 2007. CANS is a part of AKIpress news agency (Kyrgyzstan).

CANS provides news reports and analytical materials, reviews, comments on Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The main principles of news strategy include accuracy, quickness, reference to a source, and unbiased information. Information is posted in two languages: Russian and English.

The CANS audience includes big corporations, national companies, governmental agencies, mass media, banking and financial institutions, diplomatic missions and international organizations.

Central Asian News Service has a network of correspondents in Central Asian countries and other parts of the world.

The main office is located in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. CANS has the office in Osh, in south of Kyrgyzstan.
